With rapid expansion and a growing workforce, we are looking for a detail-oriented and compliance-driven Senior Payroll Executive to manage end-to-end payroll operations with high accuracy and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Own and manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for multiple employee categories (corporate & frontline teams).
Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, incentives, bonuses, reimbursements, and deductions.
Oversee statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, and other applicable labor law requirements.
Ensure timely statutory filings and coordination with consultants/vendors if applicable.
Manage Full & Final settlements, gratuity, leave encashment, and exit payouts.
Reconcile payroll data with finance and accounts teams (salary payable, provisions, accruals).
Prepare payroll MIS, dashboards, cost analysis, and variance reports for management.
Handle payroll audits (internal & external) and ensure documentation readiness.
Resolve complex payroll queries and escalations from employees and stakeholders.
Continuously improve payroll processes, controls, and automation.
Maintain strict confidentiality and data security standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in payroll processing for 500+ employee strength preferred.
In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliation, data validation).
Experience with payroll software (GreytHR, Keka, Darwinbox, SAP, or similar).
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
High attention to detail with ability to work under strict deadlines.
Good stakeholder management and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
Payroll/Taxation certification preferred.
